ABOUT

I was born with a passion for words. In fact, when I was learning to talk English, I surprsied my parents by making up my own language on the side. (I then went on to learn more useful languages.)

This passion for words led me to take a degree in English Language & Literature at Oxford University, and later to do an MA in Creative Language at Bath Spa.

I started my copywriting career at Ogilvy Interactive back in the days when the internet was a fairly novel way of communicating. I still love all things digital, but I'm happy working in any medium. It's the idea that counts for me - and its expression, of course.

I'm a massively varied copywriter and take as much joy from finding a great name or slogan to writing fiction or long copy. I'm also at home doing big conceptual jobs, either alone or in a team. I think if I could pick one word to describe my professional self, it would be: 'flexible'.
